Helix Talk

What you're describing is easily doable, and I use it on a few of my presets in combination with latching snapshot footswitches and stomp footswitches. What happens when you follow these instructions (HX Edit steps at 2:17, hardware UI steps at 5:35):

It's different since 3.15's Per-Snapshot Command Center.
Say you want to momentarily go to Snapshot 2 from Snapshot 1:
In CC with a Snapshot Command you now need to set Press in Snapshot 1 to SNAP2 and Release in Snapshot 2 to SNAP1.

This feature really made Command Center a PITA

Check out "Command Center" chapter in user manual.

Unfortunately, you're losing the touch-switch-to-navigate-to-block option that way. Touching anything that was assigned via Command Center is lost for that option.
Apart from the available footswitch layouts that you can switch between, there should be an additional Command Center mode, not making you lose stomp mode.

3.7 The, "You're not getting an Ecstasy model or even single Blue channel" release. So Stahp.

You don't get that with snapshots anyway. In fact I don't think there is a single way to map command center commands to any one block to make that feature usable.

Command Center let's you do stuff (MIDI, snapshots etc) that isn't already covered by Bypass Assign and Controller Assign.

I know - but I always wanted the full 10 stomps (all assigned without Command Center) and my snap/stomp combination. At least that's what I always ended up using. Didn't want to sacrifice the stomp mode, which wouldn't only be sacrificed but also annoy me with the touch option not taking me to any meaningful state any longer.
And fwiw: Why has there never been a 10 snapshot or 5 snap/stomp mode when there's a 10 stomp mode? That would've made my Helix gigging life a whole lot easier.

And that's the very reason why it'd deserve an extra display/layout mode that you could switch to with the mode switch rather than messing up Stomp mode (which always offered too little assignments for my needs anyway).

True. With dicke Treter you (at least I) live in constant fear of "Bank up/down".
