Yeah burgundy is a real stretch for that color.

It's probably similar to my 10th anniversary Hotone Ampero 2 Stomp where it's a color that can look very different depending on lighting. Studio lightbox for product photography is probably a worst case scenario.

Yes:

1. Press-hold the knob for 1 second. You'll see little pixel nodes appear above and below the parameter slider.
2. Move the expression pedal to the heel down position. Turn the knob to set the heel down value.
3. Move the expression pedal to the toe down position. Turn the knob to set the toe down value.

You can save your result as either a preset or model default (press [<] and [>] together), so it always comes up that way (including Expression/Flux assignment and min/max). Note that the expression pedal and Flux are the same assignment, so however you assign things, both will just work.

That was a safety requirement - otherwise you'd have to push the buttons of Dolph Lundgren in his prime, not a good idea.

Are these a big hit on the Chinese market? I can't think of any other reason to pick this specific combo except the red/gold popularity in Chinese culture.

There's a similar red/gold Quad Cortex, Hotone Ampero 2 Stomp 10th anniversary, and a bunch of other electronics out there.
