I just realized Headrush put out new firmware faster than Helix....

Not at all. Look at the total picture, Line 6 is killing HR in the firmware updates department. Always has and always will.

I think the only thing left for me to ask Helix for is a Sansamp Original/GT2/PSA-1 emulation, but only because those are about the only tones this box isn't able to deliver right now.

I'll take as many updates as L6 are willing to give us, but Helix has matured to the point where it can do basically anything. It's remarkable.

Regarding the OG SansAmp, I believe I kept getting close-ish with the Dhyana Drive (?) after I got the HX FX back in 2020.

Of course, personal settings vary, and it's easier because I have the real thing to A/B.

Tel Ray era Morley PWO, that would be stellar.

For the 105Q, I'm using the Colorful, with a sweep from 90 to 900 Hz, mix set around 75%, and a 1 dB bump. Not 1:1 there, but sounds alright and kinda does the low, growly "bwaaahhhh" that I want.

Helix 3.7 just over a year ago, Headrush Prime had 3 firmware updates since then. Not everything Line6 has updated but Helix.

One of the best things about Line6 is not having new hardware every year or 2 and updates hardware to make it better for so long. I will be buying whatever Line6 replaces the Helix with for sure.

If it is this week it will be either Tuesday or Thursday. If it's next week it will be Tuesday. They released it before Thanksgiving in the past so we have an escape from having to hang out with our weird relatives during the holidays.
