Some say the new Cyngus "ruined" the Friedman amps in the fractal. Do you have any opinion?Maybe Dave has golden ears but 3 years ago I couldn’t hear the difference between my BE 100 and the FAS model. My wife couldn’t either. He is in the business of selling amps. Consider his motives.
tbf, I can’t imagine Dave being a computer editor guy, and can you imagine him dialling an Axe FX tone on the unit? Maybe the other units are a bit more immediate/intuitive to someone who doesn’t use anything like that.
Fractal, Helix and QC all have killer Friedman emulations. No one has anything to prove there
Crucify? WTF?!
The Bogner XTC is great in the AXE , although I would love the 101B version ..I'll keep going after the Marshalls, Bogners, and Diezels when chasing Jerry Cantrell and Adam Jones tones.

I know there are schematics floating around I wonder how different they are from the 20th we have
I had a chance to play one last week unexpectedly. I think an Influence model? Didn't have a lot of time with it but I did like it. Neck was average thickness, not fat or skinny. The frets were a little shorter and flatter than I like but it was a well put together guitar.Been lusting after Knaggs for a long time. This IS NOT helping matters.
How does one engage the switching? I thought they just improved it?If anyone gets a chance on v23, can you please report the cpu hit when engaging gapless switching? thanks. curious minds in case they are able to port over to the FM9
Ehhh...,It's only as great as the iconic amps it models.
It's on by default, but you can go in and shut it off if you wish. {gapless changes}How does one engage the switching? I thought they just improved it?
Maybe I'm missing something
its like 1.5 or 2% , so Fm series maybe a bit higher but when you think of what it does it is actually saving your cpu in the endIf anyone gets a chance on v23, can you please report the cpu hit when engaging gapless switching? thanks. curious minds in case they are able to port over to the FM9
Wow, that's really interestingIt's on by default, but you can go in and shut it off if you wish. {gapless changes}
