If we’re lucky it’ll have no screen and require a T-Mobile Sidekick to edit it.YESSSS, H90 killer CONFIRMED. It'll be 12 times the size with 1 footswitch because of heat management and has VCR controls for the true FAS eXperience.
I don’t think I would need one, but now that you put it this way!!!!YESSSS, H90 killer CONFIRMED. It'll be 12 times the size with 1 footswitch because of heat management and has VCR controls for the true FAS eXperience.
Thats my thinking too. If you only want FX then you're paying for Loadbox tech, and vice versa if you just want a high quality Loadbox then you're paying for FX and probably being priced out against a Suhr or other ones. The unit would be great but the price you'd need to make it all fair means it wouldn't be worth it for too many people.Whilst I obviously have no access to sales data ....... i.m.h.o ....... a Loadbox + FX + Dynacabs ... i.m.h.o ... would sell worse than the current Fractal Load box ... that is to say, probably sink without a trace.
I'd be stunned if this was the new product.
Just my opinion 2c.
From Andy’s video I would 100% say it a new FX 8
I don’t think it’s an amp box
I have to imagine it will be cheaper than the FM3. Ideally no more than $400/$500. But I guess it all depends on if it just runs one effect at a time, or an entire pedalboard, etc etcIf it has two stereo ins and outs for processing two separate signal paths with flexible routing, AND IT'S NOT GIGANTIC, I'll be tempted to add it to my synth setup. Unless it's 1500€.
You remember what Line6 released at the same time as the HXFX, right?!? Y’all people and your small minds. Think bigger people!!!Yep. I agree. Fractals "version" of the Line 6 HXFX but without the FSW and [obviously] with a full-Midi spec - the fact that he adds something along the lines that he's always been an Amp guy.
Lock it in - Multi-efx unit for the win :)
Idk, I really don't know what else this could be. Unless he was just using the device as effects only and it still offers amp modelingPretty sure Cliff has said the FX8 didn’t sell well and they don’t have much interest in trying to make a successor, as much as I would love one.

I don’t remember, the Stomp XL?You remember what Line6 released at the same time as the HXFX, right?!? Y’all people and your small minds. Think bigger people!!!
Hxfx came first. And then a few months later people lost their damn minds when they realized they shoulda waited and bought this new Stomp thing instead, if I recall correctly.I don’t remember, the Stomp XL?
I am sure Leon has one by now and is making vids to upload day 1 of releaseLoadbox + FX seems like a weird pairing, subsection of subsection of people it would serve perfectly. Seems way more likely to be an fx box only.
There are so many preamp pedal, capture boxes out there that it kind of makes sense to have a modern/small ax8.
Not for me. I’d just take an FM3 but I’m sure it would sell ridiculously well
Will it take time away from next gen fm work?Loadbox + FX seems like a weird pairing, subsection of subsection of people it would serve perfectly. Seems way more likely to be an fx box only.

I'm guessing FX9 with similar form factor to FM9...So if it’s a replacement for the FX8, how many foot switches will it have? Assuming it’s three, what will they call it? “FX3?” But it’s a (f)loor (m)odel, they can’t call it FM3.
If they do this instead of a new sleek form factor that actually fits on pedalboard I will literally buy one just throw it in a fucking river.I'm guessing FX9 with similar form factor to FM9...
"FM" probably means Floor Modeler, not Floor Model.
Maybe it will be the FFX9?
