There are a few nice changes to the editors as well:
o Added layouts for the following types to the DRIVE block: "Super Fuzz" and "Tube Drive 5-Knob".
o Updated PHASER and TREMOLO layouts.
* Assigned bipolar or reverse drawn LED rings to additional Reverb, Volume, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Pitch, MegaTap and MultiTap controls.
* Added "Ring Brightness" to the Preferences dialog which sets the brightness of the meter and LED ring around the knob.
* Updated the knob graphics.
* Modified the knob controls to turn 300 degrees.
* Updated the internal Fractal-Bot panel to version 3.00.22.

Yeah, 300deg knobs and dimmer rings are great improvements.
Especially now that everyone agreed that the Axe Fx is a heavy and expensive door stopper without Axe Edit, so Axe Edit has to be the best thing since sliced bread.

- Updated the Drive Block with the latest Improvements based Axe-FX III V27.04:
- New “PI Fuzz” model with classic, “Triangle”, “Ram’s Head”, and “Russian” versions.
- “Wicker” switch which removes the feedback capacitors.
- “Tone” switch which allows completely bypassing the tone circuitry.
- New “Colortone Booster” based on a Colorsound Power Booster (with added Master control).
- New “Colortone OD” based on a Colorsound Overdriver (with added Master control).
- New “MOSFET Distortion” based on an Ibanez MT10 Mostortion.

Existing presets are updated automatically when you load them. - New “Modern Vibe” is based on a classic UniVibe but with a modern input buffer and LFO.
- Phaser Expert additions and changes:
- Added "LFO Mode"
- UNIVIBE: Depth decreases at slower rates, mimicking the original behavior.
- NORMAL: Depth stays consistent as you adjust the rate, allowing deeper phasing at slow speeds, beyond what a traditional Univibe can achieve.
- Added Low Cut and High Cut controls for tone-shaping of the wet path
- Renamed “Exponent” to “VCR Shape” as this better describes this control.

Does the VP4 have the impedance switching circuit on the input so that the fuzzes work correctly?

I’d love to make the leap, in particular because Mesa is not well represented in the HX ecosystem, but the companion plugin is a must-have for my band’s workflow.I thought you had FAS gear and posted on the forum? As a Mesa fan; you owe it to yourself

Funny that I spent a few hours messing with different UAD channel strip plugins a week ago and now Cliff built new compressors that will basically do that into the Fractal!
I added the VCA studio comp at the end of the chain, about -20 dB threshold all other settings default, so basically taking off 1-2 dB peaks, and then adding 2 dB of gain. Honestly it sounds fantastic and I've been playing on and off all day getting a great sound. Especially cleans. I had been fighting the Fractal here and there, hence the LA-2A channel strip I was messing with. But this is just great sounding.

If you want bolder cleans, just add a little Output Compression in the Amp block itself.
