Fender Tone Master FR-10 and FR-12 "FRFR" cabs

Curious to get your take on this these. I’ve been eyeing them up but have been neck deep in my tube amps of late.

I had them delivered to my work space so can't try them out yet, will have to wait til tonight!

I've only had about 20 minutes on them right after getting home. Tired today, but so far so good! Just ran the hx stomp out in stereo, went through some presets and everything is translating over pretty well. I'll just need to hone them in more to really get the most out of the FRs. The tone feels nice in my room, I was definitely vibing on it. Looking forward to more time with them.

Such a great product, but with the fear of getting a bugged unit with the hiss issue (in my city I can't ask my small local store to bring a unit and return it if it has the hiss thing) >_<

I'm seriously considering buying a ToneX Cab, as i need something very compact, and the TXC is about the same size as the FR-10 but with a 12" driver. Might have something to report back on soon...

Didn't know the ToneX was more compact. Very cool. Although it's way more expensive than Fender's.

TXC is only $100 more in the US. $599 vs $699. It's more but I don't know that I'd call that "a lot more."

I already have one FR-12 (with V2) though and I love it. I'm strongly considering getting another one.

And by "strongly considering" I mean I just ordered.

In a home recording room environment aint nothing better than 2, Stereo is awesome !!

$699 is the preorder price. The retail for the Tonex cab is supposed to be $799.
