It’s gonna add 3db though and lower distortion via spreading that power over two drivers. It’s not much different than same model combos with either 1 or 2 speakers IMO.

It's a total crapshoot depending on the age of the stock.

I bought a second one 6 months after the fix, expecting to receive a fixed unit; but I received a unit that was manufactured before the FR-* series was even officially released to the public!

Wow, 3? Not judging, just curious: different projects or just looking for MOAR PAWA?

That's why I won't risk buying one. Hoping for a similar product from a trusted brand (hopefully Line6) without any issue. For 600 bucks I think it's reasonable to ask for that.

I mean, I just buy from Sweetwater. They blow through stock like crazy so I know I'm getting a recent one.

And 3 because I initially sold my modeling setup, and recently replenished most of it.
