This isn’t really true. aC 15/30: the mesa transatlantic can do that quite well at modest volume; I haven’t ever played one, but think the Morgan AC20 also.

Blackpanel: the Mesa Fillmore does a GREAT job of this at modest volume. Again, haven’t played one, but always wanted an Allen Amps model with master volume, as everything I’ve heard is that they are also great.

Meh, I can get plenty of good low-volume sounds with my tube amps, including edge of breakup.

The Fillmore (50 at least) also really isn't that loud of an amp, or at least the master volume is extremely gradual. My friends has to be at 7+ on the master to match the volume of my deluxe reverb on 2-3

True dat. Ma old man has a really nice Breedlove that im not allowed to play He says I will make scratches on it.

But Tim has over 30 guitars (supposedly). To me that doesn’t justify insinuating that having more modelers or pedals would be a unnecessary thing.
