Anybody else getting sick of modellers?

I am sick of the high prices of them when each one lacks something another one has. Like a fractal with a hr gui would be an instant buy

Modellers are not that expensive. It might be relatively be expensive but a hardware and software unit with those capabilities … it’s actually a computer. And even for 1500 it’s not that expensive of an computer.

Compared to amps, it’s even straight on the same price or amps go higher.

Yup. For $1500+tax, you can have a gig able Fractal rig, brand new (FM3T+Fender FR10).

Yeah 1500 is money but I don’t find that expensive.

Sometimes I get annoyed with myself. I find it particularly bad when I get new gear and - instead of spending a lot of time with it first and enjoying it - I already have my eye on the next purchase.

In the last couple of years I have been buying-selling-rebuying-selling the same (or similar) gear over and over again. It‘s just stupid.

If the infamous "Bright Cap" bothered people it was only because they weren't playing the Amp loud enough.
