Am I missing something or does it seem like any rando 3-5 musicians who have a metal or metal adjacent album out can tour Europe and play to sold out arenas right now?. They're currently touring Europe and selling out arenas everywhere, it's insane.

Just when I thought I could believe everything I see on the internet. Not really, IMHO. We see a lot of rock bands coming through town these days, but your arena stadiums are reserved for the likes of Metallica; most end up playing smaller venues.
Which makes Volbeat's success the more puzzling to me.
Have you checked out Tremonti?
Europe just allows for a lot of "Let's go through this country to get to that one" touring as flights between countries are not that expensive or long, or you can drive to some of the adjacent countries in central Europe.Am I missing something or does it seem like any rando 3-5 musicians who have a metal or metal adjacent album out can tour Europe and play to sold out arenas right now?
Crazy how much better the music world in Europe is than here. Stupid US and the watered down hip hop/pop/corporate rock garbage that dominates here…

Mark Tremonti is an Affliction shirt that wished it was a human
I feel bad for Tremonti - by all accounts, a great guy, and an insanely talented guitar player. But most of his music output bores me to death.
I caught Tremonti as a supporting act last year and couldn't shake the feeling he needs a real band around to really thrive.
Always waiting for a tune from either Tremonti or AB to really hit me, I feel either one is equally capable of getting me hooked with an earworm but it never happens.
I'd rather have bands at least dress up a bit for gigs rather than wear cargo shorts and black T-shirts.
It's CAMO cargo shorts, black T-shirts and you didn't mention black sneakers and the optional black baseball hat.![]()
Shots fired!!!!
