I try, but I have glasses which makes it tough to see. Kinda stuck with what the glasses give me which makes it look realllllly small, even smaller than this. You use any kind of magnification when soldering young man??![]()
That pick guard isSay hello to "Betty". Betty is a favorite Warmoth partscaster. Ash tele/strat body, canary neck, wooden pickguard (mahogany I think), Porter S90 pickups, and Wilkinson bridge. I gave her a new set a strings and a setup job. Ready to rock now

I'm sure it's great and all, but holy shit that fretboard is dry. Give it a good proper conditioning stat! This is the third LP I've owned and easily the best. The two prior LPs, a Tribute and a Classic, didn't nearly have the same mojo and they've been sold off. This has it in spades. I suspect it be very hard for it to be unseated by another LP. I'm not even looking to try.
Today, new strings and a setup. Rock on![]()

Lemon seed oil?I'm sure it's great and all, but holy shit that fretboard is dry. Give it a good proper conditioning stat!
Dilute linseed oil is probably best but sparingly. Lemon oil sold for fingerboards is ok because the acidic element is very small. My understanding is highly acidic/citrus based oils are ok for cleaning and removing
grime, but awful for conditioning and moisturizing wood.
Maybe @Eagle can chime in.![]()
