What Guitar Do You Associate With Alex Lifeson?

Yeah. The Irish is Ros Eó which means Peninsula of the Yew Tree. But the British took over and Anglocised its name to Rush as probably the closed sounding English name. There are rushes on the beach though so maybe it was a clever pun.
Seems like a cool area from my outsider's perspective, just looked it up. But growing up there may have its drawbacks? Anyways, looks like pretty country and to be on the ocean.. :chef. I'm a water child (which kind of sucks because I'm currently in the middle of GA, USA:rofl).

It's a nice area really. Was just messing.

From my daily walk. I love living by the sea.

Not to be that person, but the white semi-hollow is a es-355, not a 335

Really! Wow. Didn't know that. And here I thought @Warmart made a typo! :sofa

Edit: Hold on. This is a quote from Alex: "And I like the sound of the Gibsons. These are minor things, just a taste preference, really. And my first 335 was the first really good guitar that I had. And it's still up here on the wall back here. It was just the sound that I was looking for."

Maybe he’s calling it a 335, but it is a 355.

If I call a Les Paul a Strat it doesn’t make it one ;)

So in all the years that have gone by since he bought that guitar, he's never learned its correct name? That doesn't sound right to me.

What makes a 335 a 335, and not a 355? (Or vice versa.)

He had at least 2 335's (black and tobacco burst?), none white, the white was the 355.
