What are you listening to right now ?

Im not sure if Aliens Exist or not or How they look or even if they have Music in their culture, but one thing I'm pretty sure
if they happen to be listening to us and would hear David Gilmour I'm pretty sure this would be their version of a WTF? moment

Juju is my second favourite Banshees album. It could well be my favourite, except Dreamhouse holds a lot of memories for me from back in '82/'83.
But having said that, the first album, The Scream, has its moments. Join Hands, the follow up, has a great side one ( vinyl),
side two, The Lord' s Prayer, is, to me, unlistenable.
Kaleidoscope? Nah...........
Well, Kaleidoscope was made when the band didn't really exist after Morris and McKay left, and was much more experimentation in the studio over songs tried and tested live, as JuJu was. I thought Steve Jones' guitar on Clockface was excellent.

It was a bit of a mess, but with singles they played until their final shows (and often Red Light as well). For awhile they played the B-side of Christine live (Eve White/Eve Black).

Then again, I think side 2 of Dreamhouse is vastly superior to side 1 - the reverse of Join Hands. :idk

More Stevie Ray. This song wasn't a hit prior to the movie, yet it was programmed as one of the songs that would come on the jukebox when no one had any songs playing, and that's what turned me onto it, late one night, while closing the restaurant I worked at. Fucking great song! Whole album. :chef

Why aren't these people on their feet?

I was. :love

Front of the stage in 1987. Outside. In the rain and mud. He didn't bat
an eye or miss a beat. Was there early enough to see him soundcheck
with a big, long ass Fur Coat on.

He was loud but not painful. Like brutally loud. But nothing piercing
about his tone. Yngwie on the other hand. Brutal.

Was a lesson to me that Volume doesn't kill if used like a Wizard. :chef

Not the same show, but same coat and time period.

Stone Temple Pilots announced they just released new Dolby Atmos remixes of Core and Purple.

Normally these sound horrible, but whatever mix they did is just crazy. They pulled off much of the delay and reverb that had drenched the mix before and everything is way clearer sounding. Scott actually sounds way more like himself, you can hear way more detail in the guitar parts, harmony vocals are much more distinct. Drums are punchier too.

Worth a spin through assuming you have something like Apple Music.
