I'm checking out Dreamhouse currently, and I'm up to Green Fingers thus far. That said, the out of tune, poorly played flute is absolutely abysmal. Yuck.My favourite Banshees album, A Kiss In The Dreamhouse

Yep, Green Fingers is a bit of an oddball, I get what you say, but for me it's still a great album. Slowdive, Cascade, She's A Carnival, Melt, Painted Bird..... some of the best Banshees stuff ever imo.I'm checking out Dreamhouse currently, and I'm up to Green Fingers thus far. I didn't dislike it. I just would've "lost" that track (not the song) if I was mixing or producing/whatever for the album.Yep, Green Fingers is a bit of an oddball, I get what you say, but for me it's still a great album. I hated that the Wahlberg film tried to add drama to Rob's exit and make it out to be something it wasn't.Watched Live in London show with Ripper Owens for reasons I am not sure of at this moment.
I see why they picked him at the time but those new songs from his era of albums were just not good at all. And Ripper's go to move of low note to high screams 10 times/10 with ZERO dynamic shifts anywhere were just tiring to listen to

I hate that film across the board. "Accurate" or notI hated that the Wahlberg film tried to add drama to Rob's exit and make it out to be something it wasn't.
Juju is my second favourite Banshees album. It could well be my favourite, except Dreamhouse holds a lot of memories for me from back in '82/'83.JuJu over Dreamhouse for me - but McGeogh was prime Banshees for sure. But I was in London in 1981 when JuJu and the first Creatures EP were released.
The stuff from Dreamhouse gradually disappeared from the setlist over the years, but they still played Arabian Nights, Spellbound, Night Shift and often Christine and/or Happy House.
