What are you listening to right now ?

This was some of my first tastes of music when I was about 4, spinning my aunt's 45's. So I still love this stuff!

That's super cool. Always loved them. Their Greatest Hits on Vinyl was one of my favourite
records to play as a wee lad. It was super cool growing up and then playing some of their
tunes in a band. They always go over so well. Nobody ever really plays their tunes, and yet
most people have heard them.

Did No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature, No Time, and American Woman . Keys player at
the time had an actual Leslie he would bring out and use. :love

Timeless songs! :chef

Same here! (Once my aunt allowed me to graduate to LP's. Lol)

You're right about that. Even in my classic rock cover bands, for some reason we never even considered The Guess Who. Don't know why. :idk

Great choices! :beer

If you guys like Great Canadian Rock like the Guess Who then maybe you also know BTO
Randy Bachman Left the Guess Who to form Bachman Turner Overdrive

It's weird. I was always more of a Burton Cummings guy than a Randy Bachman guy. :idk

Together, they were amazing!:love

Slaughter, c'mon... smh.

"You think anyone will notice if we, like, play it in a much lower tuning/key, and slightly slower?" Yes. Yes, someone will notice. Again, smdh.

I've recently rediscovered an album that I loved around the turn of the millennium but have somewhat forgotten about since then.

Havayoth - His Creation Reversed

Havayoth was a project by musicians from the bands Bewitched and Naglfar as well as the Swedish singer Vintersorg. Originally rooted in the Scandinavian black metal scene of the 1990s, the musicians have produced a superb, very atmospheric gothic rock/metal album with incredibly beautiful melodies. A true genre gem, which unfortunately never received the attention it deserved.

I liked that.
