What are we watching now?

Season 2 of Andor is even better than Season 1, thus far. The scene where Dedra, Syril, and Syril's mom sit down for dinner is laugh out loud funny. I never saw that coming LOL.

Just finished season 4 of Resident Alien. My wife and I have enjoyed it a lot. Many laughs.

Interesting Depression era high budget film, basically about the emergence of jazz from ragtime, with a love triangle and even some WWII drama along the way. Live music, and note how the banjo gives way to the guitar.

Signed up for free trial of paramount plus (premium and regular were both options)

Didn’t fuckin realize that the Dexter spin-offs were premium only

Being able to watch latest South Park was fine I guess but I mainly had Dexter in mind. Fuckin bullshit. And even though the premium was an option for the free trial, can’t switch now after the fact without paying

Just watched Freaky Tales. For a kid who grew up in the East Bay it was nostalgic as hell. It was fun and surprisingly good.
Just watched this as well. Fun movie

I lived in Livermore in the 90's, the kid's mix tape made me laugh and then I realized it was the soundtrack to the movie too

Also, watched the monkey on Hulu…. Goofy film but enjoyable
That new Dexter series is GREAT! Actually the first spin-off was good but had some ehh moments. The two after that have been all good in my book \m/ I really liked The Monkey!

Watched a couple over the weekend.

1. Jurassic Park VIIXIVII. It was ok. I wouldn't rewatch it but I could at least remember it enough a few days later to type this up? That's worth something I'd say.

2. Weapons. Um; I liked it. But to say I am tired of marketing campaigns for movies, despite understanding their overall purpose; is probably an understatement. I'd say Barbarian was better, as far as OMGWTF IS THIS MOVIE?!?!?!?!? goes from the same director. But the last act of this movie was bonkers done right.
