Mediocre season opener crossover episode aside….. this latest season of always sunny continues to deliver. Honestly think it’s one of the best seasons so far in some of these “late stage” years

I bought this on VHS tape when it was released.
Watched both episodes. Good setup and I am totally onboard with multiple creature angle. I hope my own "too dumb/too ADD for a slow sci-fi show" mentality doesn't win out because of the overall pacing. I am staying open minded because I want to love it. Imma just need the action and gore to stay high on the priority listWatched the first episode of Alien Earth, I’m on board! Also nice it’s a two episode premier but I gotta go to practice lol
Also didn’t realize this was Noah Hawley running this show, that’s good news and bodes well for the rest of the season
I thought the new Dexter was kind of meh at first, but it's really starting to roll now......too bad only 4 episodes left! That new Dexter series is GREAT! Actually the first spin-off was good but had some ehh moments. The two after that have been all good in my book \m/
I have really enjoyed all the new Dexter series! I think they have done a good job at spreading that story into his different eras with different actors. Only thing I would maybe argue about on the new season is I feel like the guest starsI thought the new Dexter was kind of meh at first, but it's really starting to roll now......too bad only 4 episodes left!
LOVE Brazil, and Terry Gilliams work in general. Absolute legend.Watched Brazil, the director’s cut.
This movie was like one of those long and vivid dreams where you don’t really know where you are or who anyone is, and you keep changing settings unexpectedly, but you don’t really question it. Maybe the gummies I ate contributed to my confusion but I did enjoy it and it all came together for me towards the end. I’m exaggerating a little bit, I got it but it was definitely strange. Terry Gilliam is a great director.
Recently watched The Fisher King again which is what got me interested in more Gilliam movies, and I heard that the directors cut of Brazil was his preference, so I went straight for that. Maybe that’s why it was so loopy to me, I bet the theatrical cut tried to tame it a bit. I love The Fisher King, one of my favorite movies ever and IMO the best of the Gilliam movies I’ve seen. I haven’t watched all of his movies yet so if you have any recommendations for which to watch next I am all ears.LOVE Brazil, and Terry Gilliams work in general. Absolute legend.
Just started the latest season of King of The Hill today, so good. It actually made me want to go back so S1 and rewatch it as it’s been years.
Just gained even more appreciation for it, I always enjoyed it but it’s so much better than I remember and it’s aged really well.
I’m not huge on the Monty Python esque stuff, and Brazil is about as “fantasy” as I usually like. Thanks, probably going to watch all of these. 12 Monkeys was already next on the list. I love Fear & Loathing,I’m not huge on the Monty Python esque stuff, and Brazil is about as “fantasy” as I usually like. My favourite Gilliam films aside from Brazil and Fisher King (awesome too!) are:

Tideland is underrated. Wasn’t a fan of Brothers Grimm. Lost in La Mancha is cool for background to Don Quixote
I read the synopses of the episodes for the new season on Wikipedia (as well as looked up the writer of one of the episodes), and had to give it a pass. Hank and Peggy moving to Saudi Arabia is sort of nonsensical, but maybe it has something to do with propane? Thanks, probably going to watch all of these. 12 Monkeys was already next on the list. And I dug the new KOTH more than I thought I would. I loved that show, but stopped watching around the 8th or 9th season when it seemed like they got new writers that weren’t doing it for me. I loved what Mike Judge did with the new Beavis and Butthead episodes so I gave it a shot. But I feel like we’re missing the existential crisis episode where Hank had to decide to move to Saudi Arabia.
Yeah, it’s the kind of stuff that made me stop watching in the first place. I thought the Saudi Arabia thing was totally unnecessary. One thing that bugs me is that Dale is obviously voiced by a different actor, because the original actor died a few years ago. The new voice isn’t quite right, and IMO Dale was always the star of the show. Still I think it’s better than some of the later old episodes I remember trying to watch. The first 6-8 seasons or so were classics though.I read the synopses of the episodes for the new season on Wikipedia (as well as looked up the writer of one of the episodes), and had to give it a pass.
