Upcoming: Bogner Snorkler

I wonder the price??
Eddy Lenz had the actual Snorkler and the matching cabinet associated with that sound.
The cabinet/speakers are a missing piece of the puzzle.

This amp here, seems a bit limiting.
I DO NOT like how the effects loop & noise gate are coupled together like that.
I know what that means when you use one of Reinhold loops as a volume boost and the tone is “smooth”.
Seriously, I’ve owned dozens of Bogner’s,
-the damn effects loop, intermittent crap.
I wanted to like so many of those amps.

This Snorkler needs a way to switch between those two gain adjuster’s with seperate volumes for the gain adjuster’s.-?
Man, effects loops GREATLY benefit in so many useful ways if the Amp Designer adds
send & return controls to the effect loop.
Especially with all the super killer pedals & devices available on the market-now you’ve got two controls on the back end of the amp to get workin’ those other devices and open up a hidden universe of sounds.

The name of the amp is actually growing on me.
I f’n still want one!!!

Hahahahahah I just clicked Play then fast forwarded until I heard a guitar tone, knew immediately that was Reza based off the tone. While I have zero hate for the guy as he seems to gather in other areas on the net and I’m grateful he does these, I’m not often fond of the tone he ends up getting with the majority of amps.

I dig Reza’s tones and videos but his creamback cab makes so many amps sound basically the same. Cool to hear the presence and treble cranked and the mids scooped a bit here though.

Still has that kind of fuzzy compressed thing I’m not sure I love. But handy to hear it in another context.
 
Now I’m curious about this vs. the Friedman JJ Jr. Anyone know what circuit the JJ is based on?

That’s exactly how I’d describe Lenz amps.
What’s super dope is, most of the time when I fire up an amp,
Right outta the cannon I don’t get after it with the super monster mutes,
-some sort of Cream lick’age or pseudo Zeppelin riff and end up around Sad But True
or ‘A New Level’ type of chunker’s.
The amps are so good and the feel gets your inspirational appetite wanting more as the notes go up in a flash- you don’t think heavy -more if what I’m playing is something rad or not.
THEN , you think heavy., great amps do that by nature.

I’m gassing up a Snorkler 100 for rhythms & 50 for leads.
We’re going Snorkilin’.

whoops, yeah. Meant the Alnico creams. Creamback 65’s would be great to hear, more close to what I’m used to. Alnico Creams impart their own stamp…
