Uncredited Hired Gun guitarists

Not necessarily a list of session players on solo artists, but, rather, bands with their own guitarists who got benched in favor of a hired gun.

Warrant - I believe they used a hired gun in the studio, but don’t know who.

Warren DiMartini—Didn’t he get hired on someone’s album outside of Ratt?

Shinedown/Jason Todd- Tim Pierce did the majority, if not all the guitars on that first (and awesome) Shinedown album. I think Jason was struggling with drugs at the time.

Shit, I think if we had a list of every album Tim actually did the guitars on this thread would be a few pages long. You wouldn’t think this were him. Written with Rick Beato, at that!

@DrewJD82 it's wild how many songs Tim Pierce has played on, let alone from that particular era.

Steve Hunter/Dick Wagner on "Train Kept a Rollin".
