I would!
My new theory about the 5150 being praised as a power section for the Fractal, is that once everyone gets bored with the built in sounds, they buy a Fractal and they use the 5150 because its what they have. 5150 boredom is causing people to buy a Fractal, but then they learn about other amps and that is where the chaos begins.
More like a good Mark Motivator! It’ll sound just good enough to make you really want the real deal.5150III is modeler power amp perfection. And it has good sounds. But the long lost vibes from the Recto is so far out of the universe comparatively for my tastes it's not even funny. I did a partial trade for a greenback loaded 212 peavey cab. I'm either loading up the top half of my Boogie 412 or I am going to hold tight for a bit with. I'm still pondering whether a Syn-1 and IICP module with the recto power amp or LX would be a good Mark satiator.
Time to off some Celestion F12-200x turds!More like a good Mark Motivator! It’ll sound just good enough to make you really want the real deal.
I believe you assume a lot and generally think lowly of others. Some of us do whatever the heck we want and boredom has nothing to do with it.I would!

Roll tubes or GTFO IMO.FWIW; if the one I had was doing weird howling...I'd probably not be a fan either. When you are done with a piece; you're done. No sense dawdling around it imo.
Maybe; maybe not? I am not averse to it at all. Dead simple to do. But the only amp that really benefitted from it was a Bugera turd I owned for a few monthsRoll tubes or GTFO IMO.
Sounds fair enough to me. It was an opinion offered honestly.I think you're probably looking for a fight after a bad day at work, but you actually got onto my block list. This forum has strong personalities and if someone can't respond to my opinion without personal attacks, they shouldn't be in the discussion.
Ironicyou actually got onto my block list.
It might have been out of repair? Core tone did not speak to me.I can't speak to the quality control of these amps. I tried EL34s in mine and it made it sound boxy. I don't doubt that the one you tried sounded terrible.
All Ironheart products I tried were the same. The Studio was the best but even with an in-depth preamp roll, it was dry, sterile and yes, raspy. Shame too because on paper, it was sweet.Use what you like. Certainly. I had an Ironheart Studio (the 15 watter with el84s)? Only el84 amp I've ever liked. I had the Ironheart 120 and it was raspy, messy and generally gross sounding. And weighed a ton. Zero bond with that amp.
Dry is a PERFECT term for it!All Ironheart products I tried were the same. The Studio was the best but even with an in-depth preamp roll, it was dry, sterile and yes, raspy. Shame too because on paper, it was sweet.
It’s a tough one. That rig is the product of a Japanese-British-Chinese orthogonal axis of underhanded influence meant to brainwash guitarists into being lazy bums, thereby undermining North American hegemony….If you love your zoom through your ironheart, feel free to go enjoy that.
