The only thing that will save Headrush is NAM compatibility

If they were to fade away, would they really be missed?
Well, I have to congratulate them on their touchscreen. They were like the first ones to come to market. I think even before Quad core and I actually like their gooey a lot but their products not so much even their MPC’s have gotten cheaper feeling but more expensive in price.

Eh, i've been hearing this ever since NAM launched, and here we are, with the QCs and Kempers and ToneXes of the world outselling NAM devices by a couple orders of magnitude.

NAM is really cool, don't get me wrong, but i don't think it's the be all, end all of guitar tone some are making it to be. IMHO sales would not sway one bit if Headrush announced support tomorrow.
Except NAM files are open source and not locked in to a certain brand. I'm a Kemper guy. I have no investment in anything NAM.

Maybe capture tech can never fully result in accurate respons on amp parameters like modeling..but the question is ..do enough people care about that, or are they happy when they have a good sound? Accurate modeling maybe important to a specific group (well represented on fora), but I doubt that group is big enough to keep investments in whitebox modeling going, maybe even at the brands that today are leaders in modeling tech.
I expect that modeling and capturing will continue to be parallel streams for quite a while, in part because of the differences in user experience. Captures will absolutely continue to thrive. Among others, people who have physical amps of their own that they want to assemble in one portable unit will keep loving the capture approach. But some people just aren't going to want to go shopping/sifting through the infinite pile of captures. And yes, some of us want all of the controls to work like they do on an amp and/or pedal for dialing in with a given guitar or for a given song. And IMO, even Kemper's liquid profiles aren't particularly close on that front.

It’s all good then. No need to make it a Headrush subject. They won’t do it. IM won’t do it. They’ve been behind in the fora of modeling business for many years. The dissatisfaction and disappointment for them only means that people want them to be better than they are or turned out to be. And while that is sad, people need to move on, to other brands or be happy with what HR provides for the moment. I mean… it feels like you care for Headrush. But honestly they’re not a brand that cares about users in the way the fora of brands like Kemper, Fractal, Line 6 does. Just my opinions, which are very questionable indeed.

I don't care for HR at all. After being a beta tester and comparing with all other modelers, over and over again, I have no love for HR at all. All I'm saying is they need to fix their modeling soon because they are falling more and more behind.

That's IF they're falling behind. We would need actual sales reports - which none of us have access to.
I worked in the MI industry for over a decade in the 00s and early 10s. You'd be surprised how little forums are a representative of actual sales. That hasn't changed.

Let's ask some Anderton's or Sweetwater friends how HR sales compare to say, Kemper, QC and Line 6.

Wtf do you want to ridicule me?

I’m not a native english speaker, in my language fora is a perfectly acceptable plural for forum, google says it is in English also. Appearently it lands different the US…still no reason to be a dick.

I couldn't tell you how it lands in the US as I'm not from the US. I can pretend if it would help. Do you want the Deep South version of me or the North Dakotan edition? If your first language is Spanish, then kudos. It's my second and I'm sure your English is better than my Spanish.

But I'll agree with you and apologise because you're right.

I’ll speedrun you the answer….. don’t use that word 🤣… just say forums for the plural of forum

Still… if we have to grind our crotches in the matter…

It’s completely ridiculous to call someone “questionable” for using the word fora two times in a post containing about 170 words. There are numerous other things we can call each other for the shit we write here.

Me for example. It’s very questionable to involve both crotch and grind in any sentence and you all should be very disappointed in me about it. Or something like that…. Idk.
