The TLDR for my unnecessarily long post =
There are so many, solo, tremoverb, rev a,b,c,d,e,f,g. Stupid in all honesty but where can I learn?
Anyone have a link or a document that covers all rectifiers and all revisions?
That is what irks me about Rectos, there are so many of them.
I have heard a buddy at their band practice through a single Rec and it was insane. Sounded amazing tbh but which single rec was it? Who knows.
I have personally played two different Dual rectifiers and to be blunt I thought they were garbage. Not sure if it was the cab, or me or the amp but I couldn't get it sounding anywhere near acceptable, ive gained lots of amp dialing experience prior to using them.
Ive owned a JP2C and out of the box it was great. No issues getting a killer sound at all. So I chalked it up to maybe rectifiers just suck ass.
BUT I saw a Killer Killertone video years back where he boosted a dual with a TS9 or something and he had it sounding great. Also, one of my favorite albums was recorded with a triple (Whisper Supremacy)
I've lately been wondering damn, why do some rectifiers sound incredible but the ones I played sound like hot garbage?
The only thing I can come up with is maybe certain revisions are great?
Just curious if theres a database that covers all things recto.
