The "Going To An Audition" Thread

I just realized that I was never able to use my two favourite rock amps of all time
at the same time. JCM800 and Mesa Mark V. It was always one or the other, but never
both in the same place.

Until now. I was just working on some of my patches with the FM3, and it hit me like a bolt
of lightning just how fucking awesome this is. I can switch from a Mark V patch for some of the
down-tuned Rock/Metal, and then switch over to a JCM800 for some of the more Marshall-
centric tones. Oh, and I have a Princeton-based patch for a couple of songs needing more
of a Fender thang. :chef

What a luxury of riches. Maybe I was starting to take it for granted and not fully realize
how epic 1986 Me, or 1999 Me, or even 2014 Me would think how great this is. It is great! :love:banana:pickle

Holy shit! All the guys are 100% in on 3 rehearsals this week as we prep
for our 1st gig this Summer. :bananaI have to say the new Rhythm Section is
pretty much killing it. Those two are well on their way to being the most
locked in, groovin', and tightest Rhythm Section this particular band has had. :chef

Rock it La Szum! Glad things have gelled for you and the hepcats!! What is the name of the band? Will we get to see any video or hear some clips? Hope you have good weather for the first gig ;~))

Unseasonably cold and windy today, which will likely drive more people to go
Beer Tenting and hit the Festival. Also, 58F is way better than 88F for a gig, in
my experience. :chef

Not sure yet on what to take for stage monitoring. Thinking Tube Amp FX
Return and 1 x 12 Creamback loaded Cab. Maybe 1 "FRFR" wedge as a backup,
just in case.

Also, can someone help me pick out what to wear?? It's been a minute.
