Talk me out of buying 20 year old modeling tech...

I'm not a hardcore modeler guy, but I had a Helix, and still have a Super Reverb TM & a Boss Katana. Was shopping the local marketplace and saw a Fender Cyber Deluxe for the price of what I typically spend on a pedal. I remember those sweet motorized knobs, being able to swap in different tone stacks, different amp models, pretty cool tech for the turn of the century! I need another amp like I need a hole in my head, and I'd probably just use it at home. Just wondering if anyone here still has one of these Cyber amps. Any issues with this series that yall remember? Do they sound comparable to current modeling tech? Did your motorized knobs fail? Is it worth me checking out, or should I just buy another fuzz pedal?

The other guitarist in my band in the early 00’s had a CyberTwin and it sounded great and was a lot of fun. I also saw Buddy Guy play through one. I’d definitely be worried about mechanical failures with one today, but if you like tinkering you could do worse.
