It's $698 on the Kemper site so that's interestingKemper site has this:

Andertons either have the price wrong, or they're adding a huge mark up.

I think I could stomach £500. But that is pretty much the limit for me.That's more realistic...but I still find it pretty high given how limited the I/O is, no screen, gotta dongle up the MIDI, etc. The thing probably weighs 3 ounces and is running some 38 cent processor.
Why wouldn't you opt for the Tone X at half the price
Good point! But I feel like this is for those who will more than likely integrate it into a pedal board so effects shouldn't be a huge issue. They probably already have them on their boardNo effects except comp and reverb, for one.
If someone said I'll give you $300 to stomach the Tone X UI and my tones would be more "accurate" I wouldn't say no(Hopefully) no dumb Tonex editor UI and all the infuraiating associated bullshit !?

Can we get a blind Kemper profiler player vs Kemper profiler rack vs kemper profiler head vs kemper profiler stage comparo video?!?!?!?
I suspect that the price on the Kemper site doesn't include VAT, which would take it to pretty much £600.Kemper site has this:

Many people will use this as a stand-alone unit.Good point! But I feel like this is for those who will more than likely integrate it into a pedal board so effects shouldn't be a huge issue. They probably already have them on their board
I mean, the HX Stomp isn't going around stomping on shit, right?!?!?!So just to be clear: This has the word "Profiler" on it, but it's only a profile Player and does not profile / capture?
I'm fairly sure of that looking at the I/O and the manual... or am I wrong about that?
Nice price! Around what I expected. Thing is the used market for a profiler is so low. I've bought one or two in the $900 range

I agree with this -- you've got two pre-effects slots plus two post-effects slots. that'll do ya for most gigs. Many people will use this as a stand-alone unit.
But which one would you rather put on your pedalboard?
If it can't profile this would be a huge miss imoSo just to be clear: This has the word "Profiler" on it, but it's only a profile Player and does not profile / capture?

There are two conflicting arguments going on personally would view the Player as integrating with a pedalboard. If I was looking for standalone, it would be the rack, toaster, or stage for me.But which one would you rather put on your pedalboard?
