yea ive got a 6505 and ultra plus if i need bigger iron but 50 watts seems to be the sweet spot for both the places we play and my interest level in hauling around gear lolololol

someone brought a single to play at our spot recently and it kinda sparked this purchase, that chewy saturation just sounds amazing in one guitar HC bands.

just got back from GC. amp is fucked. returned it. mega pissed.

wouldn't turn on. dude was like lets try a new fuse, it turned on and then it went off. the fuse blew again. he wasnt really an amp tech, either am I so here are.

ill probably wait for them to post it at lower price as non functioning and scoop it up.

Yeah there's a deeper issue inside the amp, could be issues on the tube sockets themselves or a few other places on the board. Likely not worth it unless you have a solid amp tech buddy that works for beer money.

I will say my rectoverb 50 was not really loud enough to hang with drums, which afaik is identical to a single except it also has reverb
