yes yes yes. Rev F, Rev G. I know.

Other than a different Recto model or different Mesa amp... what other amps would I most likely dig??

My favourite amps ever are:
2018 multi-watt Dual Recto, obviously.
Marshall Satriani JVM
Orange Rockerverb
Diezel VH4
Fryette Sig:X
Laney VH100R

I want to love the 5150 stuff... but there is always something a bit too "metal" about them.... I'm not averse to trying out another one. But I had a 5153 50watter and hated the cleans. I had an EL34 5153 Stealth as well.... and I thought it was a bit meh overall, and I sold it only a few months after owning it.

I've had my eye on a Revv Generator MKIII amp; probably the red model... although the 4 channel with purple and red modes would be lovely too.

What else?

It was Kierkegaard or Dick Van Patton who said, "Love the one you're with"
waynes world thumbs up GIF

Not sure if you’d dig a Mark although you might get on with it. Dont overlook a IV or V either, not sure the VII is going to have much benefit for you.

Friedman Naked, Dirty Shirley (if it’s not too caveman, Twin Sister could be better), BE100 DLX might be up your street.

Is there anything else quite like a Recto? I'd suggest there isn't?

Enjoy the bounty currently at your disposal. Dumb response. I know.

That's a nice collection of amps.
I think you can do pretty much everything tonewise from the amps, maybe invest in a Greenback loaded 4x12 to expand the sounds you can get, if you don't have one already.

Nah not dumb at all!!! Totally fair point!

Part of me is imagining:

Revv Purple - Recto/SLO kinda thing
Revv Red - 5150 kinda thing

Probably doesn't really breakdown like that though.

Hmmm.... Someone has Revv on the mind.

We need to get @Stratzrus in here to remedy that.

He seemed to suggest the Revv was kind of meh and bland,
without much of a defining character.

Yahhh but who the fuck is he?!?!?!

(I jest! I jest!)

The irony is, my interest in Revv is solely down to Line6 and their Revv models. Which to me, are the best high-gain tones on Helix.

Do you prefer the Helix Revv models over the ones in the Fractal, Orv?
They're very close to one another. But I find the Helix easier to dial in. Fractal might be a touch clearer because of what I assume is less aliasing or more oversampling in the model. But I really don't know exactly.
