Just popped some 6L6s I had on hand in, definitely digging them. Improved the clean channel for clean cleans (although I think 34s are better for the dimed clean mode tone being discussed above)

Brought high gain sounds into a little more familiar territory too (still very much badlander though, this amp has a very unique sound to it imo). 6L6’s even had me cranking up the mid knob into @la szum approved territories

Think I may roll with the 6L6s in for a bit

That's so weird.... especially when you understand power tubes have no tone.

How would you run the rest of the tonestack? This one really intrigues me (diming the Gain on the clean & boosting with a pedal).
Asking just 'cause I'm still waiting on one to come in.

For that particular tone, bass and mid at 3-4, treble straight up at 5.
