Ghosts of guitar rigs past

Is that a Fender Hot Rod hiding back there?

Could be? That was in a rehearsal studio and was one of the provided amps, I was too busy trying to get my crap setup and functioning while getting very intoxicated as my buddies rented the studio for my bachelor party and had all my former band members from over the years show up to jam. Good times.

Epic, Met! Epic! :chef

Man, I never took enough pictures. Never. Regret that a lot now. Get so caught up
in living in the present that I forget to memorialize it with a photo or 3. :facepalm

This has taught me to make sure I take more pics of my gear from time to time. One day it becomes fun to look back and reminisce.

There are other past amps and guitars that I don’t think I ever took a photo of and now I wish I had taken a few.

That is an awesome bachelor party! Those are good buddies to set that up

Pretty sure I have a bunch posted on the socials---like FB---but ain't no fucking way
I am pulling that up on a my computer to retrieve them.

Of all my past amps I still regret selling this rig, JCM 800 2210. Let it go many years ago when I was strapped for cash. Poor quality photo, it's a pic taken on my phone of an old photo.
Makes me smile when I see the violin bow on top of the cab. Apparently I musta thought I was Jimmy Page 😂

I don’t want to look at my old pictures because I’ll see my Superbass that I lent to my brother who sold it for $450.

and my Steinberger that I sold for $850 (minus eBay charges). I remember the guy complained because I changed the $2 toggle so that there was no middle position for both pickups. I should have had him send it back.

Edit - I do have a picture of my rig from 1996-2016 though

I guess I feel ok about that one. Stereo everything!

Edit again - nope, i don’t feel good about this either. I should have never sold that Carver GA250. 🤦

I sold my 2210 decades ago and I actually don't miss it much.

Thanks for sharing your pics of rigs past, and glad you managed to salvaged them before the bucket flushed them all away.

It brought back a memory of my earliest rig, a Tele and Princeton Reverb that I played in garage bands throughout the 1970s. Sadly, no pics survived and they’re long ago sold, but I can still see them in my mind’s eye.
