I’ve had a bunch during the years, but these two are the ones that stays.

I’d like to have a Polara again… not because it’s awesome in anyway (the Halo algo is pretty nice though) but because of sentimental value.

I have two of these and will buy a 3rd if I see a smoking deal on one.

Have one wired into my recording rig, another on my live pedalboard. The 3rd would go in my home office, where I jam randomly when the mood strikes.

Now that I’m using pedals again I’ve been thinking about picking up a 250 and a monophonic Whammy again. I always loved the old warbly Whammys

ive owned one: the american metal pedal. i loved it because it was better sounding than Tube Stack.

edit: not true! i owned a double distortion as well. it wasnt too hot- but the purple american metal pedal WAS a lotta fun, especially with a chorus pedal as well. 1985 in a nutshell!

The only two DigiTech products I own are the Polara and the Freqout.

Not crazy about the Polara. I once was, but I ended up upgrading my reverbs and have not had a use for this pedal in some years, now. It just can't keep up with any of the others. For some reason, I haven't been able to part with it though.

It'll never make its way on to another pedalboard.

Never liked the artwork on this pedal. I thought it was hideous.

These first two pictures were taken pre-pedalboard days.

The Freqout, on the other hand, is incredible.

Years ago, I had a BOSS DF-2 Distortion Feedbacker (pre lawsuit days) and the distortion was decent, but the feedbacker circuit was horrible. Tracked poorly. Sounded completely fake and gimmicky.

No regrets, here. Excellent pedal :-).
