Show Us Your Loved Digitech / DOD Pedals🤘

I remember buying a Preamp/Overdrive 250 back in 1983, for $20.00, on sale at Guitar Center. That was the first new pedal I ever purchased. It served me well for a long time!

I found a 1980 one in the back of a Twin Reverb I bought in the late 80’s. It’s an early yellow one with the grey circuit. Still have it but rarely use it.

I love this pedal 👍

I’ve got a broken WH-2 Whammy I won’t get rid of, hoping someone comes along some day with the fix. I think I’ve hauled that thing around longer after it’s been broken than I used it when it worked and I got it in ‘98!

I’ve got a bunch that I bought during the big sales of the late 2010s.
  • Digitech Expression Factory
  • Digitech Chorus Factory
  • DOD 250
  • DOD 201 Phaser
  • DOD Gonkulator
  • DOD 440 Envelope Filter
  • DOD Boneshaker
  • DOD Carcosa
  • DOD Rubberneck
  • DOD FX56-B Super American Metal

Here are pictures of some boards that I had incorporated them into.

I had a Synth Wah back in the 2000s, but that unfortunately died.

I may end up with one of these. I've only heard great things but never tried one.
You’re right. It’s one of those pedals where I don’t recall ever seeing a negative review. That’s maybe confirmation bias since I obviously love the thing. IMO if it had a boutique name it would be a $200+ fuzz, and it works beautifully no matter what guitar I use. I can’t say that about my fuzz faces. Musical Velcro.

Just ordered,. I had some Amazon gift cards, should be here Wednesday. :banana

This just showed up at my door --
I've had a bit of time with the Carcosa now and see where all the hype has come from. Wonderful overdriven tones, beautifully crunchy and compressed in the right way. Mind you, this is only running it into a HX marshall jmp, normal channel. So, much more to explore but this is a definite keeper.

What’s your iStomp like ?
I’ve never tried one but always wonder are they any good ?
The various pedal options and tones were legit. It was a swiss army knife that could be programmed to be any number of pedals. Sadly, it was a super cool idea that just suffered from bad timing. The connection for the pedal to your phone was the old iPhone cable, and I would guess that Apple switched over to the lightning charger at the exact same week the iStomp was released. So I specifically kept an old iPhone 4 around to be able to reprogram the iStomp when needed, but in the end it was a bit of a hassle.
