They’re always under 4 pounds… Except for one, and it was tough as hell! Muscled like a champion @ 4.4 lbs!

Last bird was right at 3 pounds? It was fine!

Wow, I guess I assumed they would be bit bigger.

I guess Fryers are always harvested around the 8 to 12 week mark??

That’s a good question… I should go look and see what the harvest time is… These birds are a little bougie I’ll have to admit, as they’re supposedly finished on different food products for the last 6 to 4 weeks. Things like squash and berries, or corn and apples.

I’m trying all kinds of local vendors to source food other than going to the damn grocery store; reasons. (some things are still unavoidable however)

But key proteins and carbs are sourced alternatively.
