Rob Chapman "joins" Atomic Amps ..... "major new" release coming very soon

“Hey, we’ve got this killer monitor that Jay designed for us. Let’s scrap that and get someone with less-than-Jay’s monitor design expertise to design for us”.

All of these options are yawn-worthy. Bassbox, Amplifirebox with MIDI and CLR, but make the products actually available and readily repairable through a responsive customer support channel and you have a bangin’ little business.

“Take the Amplifire and give it the Headruah UI” is about as much of a pipe dream as “Take the Headruah make it sound as good as an Axe Fx III with all of the Axe FX IIi’s content” or “Have the Axe Fx available through GC and Sweetwater with 0% interest for 24 months”
IIRC, Jay designed a smaller monitor a while back, lots of people wanted to purchase one but he wasn't going to sell them. Maybe he worked another deal with Atomic. Just a thought/wish.

Honestly, re-packaging existing Atomic/StudioDevil tech with new UX is, by far, the most realistic of those three. And for some reason, they've been unable to, for over a decade now.

It's a shame. As many others mentioned, i think Atomic's amp sims deserve a much better treatment.
I think you're probably right, but all seem so far beyond reality that trying to rank them seems kinda meaningless to me.
