Randy Rhoads Tone Tutorial??

Used these settings for a preset on the FM3 I just got and combined with the 417H IRs from Seacow and wow... sounds even better than on the QC!

That's the one I used on my RR cover tunes.

Played around with which IR out of that pack was closest (listening to Crazy Train)... I was blending 57 & 121 at first but sounded too dark and too "full" making is sounded kind of muffled. Closest I'm hearing is the 417H-57-Cap by itself. No blending with any others.

When I did the "Little Dolls" cover I used:

Left track : Prototype JB pickup > MXR Distortion+ (Output 3 o'clock, Distortion 9 o'clock) > Plexi (Presence 5, Bass 2, Middle 7, Treble 7, Volume I 6, Bright Input) Channel then bussed into EQ, Eventide H-910 Harmonizer, Sunset Sound Reverb.

EQ Curve Plot :

Right track : Prototype JB pickup > MXR Distortion+ (Output 3 o'clock, Distortion 9 o'clock) > Fortin-modded Marshall JMP > shared bus with left channel

Speaker : 1977 Altec 417-8H
Mic: SM-57
