OMG the Revv Glennfricker sig

I posted this on another thread last night. I watched him do a Sterling JP guitar "review". I stay in my lane. I am a specific guitarist with a specific level of technique. If you want someone to out Ministry Ministry riffs while throwing in some death metal chunks; I am 100% your guy.

Disclaimer/caveats out of the way. This is the only time I will ever post a video from him.


Glenn Fricker is an ABYSMAL guitarist. I don't even think that word covers it to it's full level of absolute amateur hour horrific-ness. He has the vibrato skills of a parkinsons riddled chimp. Spazzy playing in the worst of all ways. Just a nightmare. Add in all the stupid clickbait videos and he probably should just get back to playing the Spider and stfu. JFC.

I actually was telling my buddy that the other day. I am NOT the kinda guy to bag on other's guitar skills. I am certainly no one to talk. BUT.......for a guy that dishes it out as often as he does, I feel comfortable in saying he sucks balls.

As an awful beginner myself, I recently watched a video of his where he explained how he "improved" his guitar technique. I had to stop after a few minutes because even I could tell that he was spouting absolute BS.
Paraphrasing: Playing with a closed picking hand is better because then you can play your downstrokes from the elbow and it sounds more brutal. WAT?!
Big wasteful motions that's how you become a shredder for sure

Which I just had to do a youtube for as I don't recall hearing/seeing them all over like way back in the day...

Looks like he blossomed into the stereotypical modern guitar youtuber and is trying as hard as possible to minimize the accent
