My moms sent me a redback for my birthday

Kind of debating what route to go with it. I could test it in my widebody 1x12 but I’m already super happy with the c90 in there

Considering giving my Madison 2x12/cat condo another chance at life and putting this in there and also grabbing the creamback out of my deluxe reverb and testing that combo out. I have that Mesa 2x12 diagonal on back order til who knows when, but maybe if I was digging that config I could just order another creamback and cancel the Mesa order and save some dough….

Happy birthday \m/ Interested to hear your take on the Redback. I used one with an OG 5150III 50 watter years ago. I never go to really break it in and I feel like it was way overpowered for the amp I was using it with.

Man a Redback / V30 mix in a 412 is really worth trying for high gain. Unless you like super warm, smooth and polite tones that is.

I’ve just been Neanderthal chugging away in drop D through the badlander for the last hour

Glorious

Madison gets a new lease on life….. pretty sure I’m gonna cancel the backordered Mesa cab for the time being too lol

Now I just need to get another speaker into my deluxe reverb… creamback sounded great not sure if I should just get another or try something else in there lol

I think I’m stuck with this cab for life I could barely give it away when I tried

Which I’m totally fine with considering recent developments

I know I’ve been fickle and trying to hate on it but it’s a solidly built birch ply cab that’s been to a lot of gigs with me and now with the right speakers I’m seriously digging it

Think I’ll get a 3d printed Jawa logo to put on the front

Always irritated me that it was 16ohms too, now it’s a proper 8 ohms
