I have owned and giged a lot with the 20w and briefly had the 100w too. Anticipating more punch and girth with the 50w. Looks like the MV hits you fast like the SB
The BE dlx does not. Assuming it's a different pot linear/audio taper?

The plexi ch goosed with my Golden pearl is a big part of the selling point for me. The BE dlx plexi ch never really did it for me. Dave replied to an e mail last week saying they are similar but the Jake def has more gain on the plexi side.

I just have come to the realization that Dave's ears and tastes are not my ears and tastes.

Great dude! Builds killer gear and rigs and who knows what in the future. I love that he
gives props to forgotten guitarslingers and seems to want to help them out. I just don't
dig how his amps sound and feel. For me.

I still get excited about what he does. And stoked to hear what you think of the JEL50.

Agreed most are way too dark like ch 2 on the small box and the BE , but the jake plexi is really special and ch 2 has a lot of flexibility specializing in shred!!
