If it bricks units or still has bugs or get stuck loading at 71% a lot of people are going to be flipping mad

July 22 - Announce that an update is finally here....in 9 days.
July 23 - Finally announce what the "surprise" is for long-time QC owners
July 31 - (Hopefully?) Release update and get ready to feel the thunder of bug reports/units giving up the ghost during the 35-minute update process.
August - Try to hotfix these when your Euro staff is traditionally on vacation for much of the month?!?!

Sounds like September is the time to perform the update. I can't find any QC vendors on Amazon right now anyway.

Interesting that @timbuck3 mentions people not having money for multiple modelers owning 30 guitars himself. Sell 5 guitars, buy all the modelers and be like Tim Pierce,. No more need for harassing people with inane questions...and done.
