Namm 2025 predictions

It could be like that old Line6 / Bogner collab.

Mesa designs the amp, but it's MIC. Amplitube provides the digital models.

What's scary is that modeling is good enough now that this would actually sound amazing.
Never thought about that but yeah I guess they could do the power section ir loader
Maybe trhrow a tube in the preamp and collab with Amplitube on the preamp voices

Why not just buy the actual amp at that point? It’s not like Boogies have to be cranked to give up the goods.

NAMM may cease to exist someday. It sure is watered down these days, because
with the social media platforms manufacturers are trickling out products during
the entirety of the year, and not teasing products at Winter NAMM and Summer
NAMM 2x per year. :idk

I suppose it's probably still helpful to smaller companies who don't have a large social media presence yet. They'd at least get a lot of people seeing their booth who've never heard of them before.

I think next years NAMM show will have to go some to better this years German show for quality new products and the way it was run without all the noise .👌🍺

True. That space at NAMM is expensive, though---which can be a deterrent for
smaller outfits. :idk

I do suspect Anaheim enjoys the economic stimulus all those bodies
provide in needing to be housed and fed for a week or so. :guiness

It does seem that the mystery reveal on social media is the predominant trend
now. Tease a few photos over the course of a few weeks to build intrigue.

Also, as the interaction between dealers and Fender/Gibson et al. Get more awkward: “HEY!! Yeah, no these are our special releases that we are only selling direct - you can’t have them. Also, sorry for poaching your customers with our DTC marketing.” - I imagine building relationships with dealers will be more and more important for smaller brands looking to get their stuff out into dealers hands where players can touch and play them.

That’s been Ibanez for 20 years now.
I fell out of love with Ibanez. Its like they are marketing to hipsters. Nothing too bright or showy. It has to be some muted shade of some color you really don't like. It can't be completely traditional looking, but it still has to look good with flannel and a beard.

I thought the AZ series were really nice playing guitars
But maybe some different Colors would have been nice
The Nita Strauss Color I thought was awesome the black burst to natural
But other than that they have a lot of drab Colors and finishes
