NAD: Marshall DSL100HR

IT BETTER NOT BE AT DOLORES'S'S'S HOUSE :cuss:cuss:cuss:cuss:cuss
Fun fact: the package that was never delivered was signed for by "GAMANDA", who I can only assume is Dolores' sister?

I can agree with all of that. It's not a pretty piece of gear. But I sure appreciate being able to throw it into my backpack if I want to travel with it.
It definitely scratches an itch! Not sure if it would replace a full amp for me, despite what it’s capable of

… for those who want their Friedman to look like a Zoom pedal on the outside and a Samsung DVD player on the inside

Thanks for that. I just sprayed tea over my desk and my shirt. :hmm

@mbenigni - The DSL is a pretty great amp.

@everyone else - stfu with the JCM900 hate. You don't know what you're talking about !!!!

You win all the truth points for today.

BluGuitar Amp 1 Mercury Edition...
:sofa
If the aim is to forego the delivery shitshow and walk right into a brick and mortar shop - and walk right back out with amp in hand - BluGuitar is surely a step in the wrong direction. You'd think I could walk into a local Guitar Center and buy a mainstream cheapo Marshall head, but nooooo. (I know, I know. Let GC order the amp and deliver it to a store. I tend to ignore a salesperson when they tell me they can order something, as if I couldn't order it myself and save some driving, but maybe that's the next step.)

The only place with any inventory around here is the local dentists-and-lawyers shop. Where I can get any amp I want as long as it's a Friedman or a PRS. And as long as I have $3K-$4K burning a hole in my pocket.

Ok maybe I went overboard with the 900 shade, but I’ve frequently clarified my hate is deservingly limited to the dual reverb. The 900 mkIII and SL-X are both killer and unfortunately lumped in with that other turd by association.

There are just SO MANY models and variations. For a Marshall noob, it's pretty overwhelming. (That's why I went with, "What have you got that's so cheap there's no way I'll regret it?" LOL.)
