NAD: Marshall DSL100HR

That sucks man. I don't want to put this in your head, but sometimes, when these "mishaps" happen to me, I start thinking that it just wasn't meant to be, and/or it's because there's something else you're supposed to be playing, lol.
I thought about that. "Screw it just refund my money" is sometimes the best resolution. And sometimes that little touch of spite helps resolve the frustration LOL. But in this case, it's simply too much amp and too little money for me to want to go that route.

I want my amp dammit!!! :hmm

(There's always "screw MF - let's see if Sweetwater can get this done", though...)

Ordering from MF there’s some probability the amp shipped from a GC store. GC cannot be trusted to get anything right.

You know it, Brother!! I ordered a guitar from them one time and they shipped me the wrong one. I returned it to the local store, bought another one while I was there, and took it home.

A week later a guitar shows up at my door, and I'm like WTF, they must have found the one I originally ordered. Opened the box and guess what, it was a Taylor Acoustic/Electric. The store I returned the guitar to, reused the box and did not put a new shipping label on so UPS delivered it to my address on the old shipping label.

So I called them up and asked to speak with the shipping/inventory manager and asked if he was missing a Taylor. He told me yeah, that guitar has been missing for almost a week and they had no clue where it was since no one had any tracking data. Anyway, I met the guy half way and gave him back his much more expensive guitar and they ended up giving me a 15% F&F coupon which is how I got a good discount on my Marshall SC20H.

So moral of the story, it pays to be honest, but maybe GAMANDA isn't as honest as I am, lol... Good Luck, @mbenigni, you will get it eventually and it will be worth the wait!!

Thank you!

As for that moral: Being honest probably didn't pay as much as the value of that Taylor... but still the right thing to do. :)

GOOD NEWS: The amp just arrived!

BAD (HOPEFULLY NOT CATASTROPHIC) NEWS: My wife watched the driver (GAMANDA? Possibly incensed because I'd already left a bad review?) pull in, open the rear gate halfway, and literally kick the amp out of the truck onto our driveway. (Sounds like it landed on its end before falling over and winding up upside-down.) Then he/she drove off the side of the driveway and left a nice crater in our lawn, but whatever.

Inspecting and testing now. Didn't hear anything rattling around when I carried the amp down the stairs, so maybe I'll get lucky. No thanks to FedEx. :hmm

W.T.F

Fingers crossed man 🤞

Geezus.

Ok maybe I went overboard with the 900 shade, but I’ve frequently clarified my hate is deservingly limited to the dual reverb. The 900 mkIII and SL-X are both killer and unfortunately lumped in with that other turd by association.
Let's fight to the death. The winner gets all of the Dual Reverbs - which are excellent in their own right!
