Mooer GS1000li profiler

Mooer just released the GS1000li. It's basically competition for the QC, Kemper etc and I found it to be very solid! The one that I got has a built in battery, so that was cool and unexpected! Good amount of effects (350 or so) and the profile that I made turned out very accurate.

I think it's cool that there's a lot of competition out there because hopefully this will push all the companies to up their game!

As far as I know it's a proprietary format

It'd be good to compare it to the G-Labs MNRS profiles in order to know if it's the same tech or an evolution...

As I said some time ago, it's just a matter of time that every cheap modeler has profiling.

Mooer is definitely gunning for the Quad Cortex market - not everyone wants to shell $1700 for a modeller. Could do with less blingy RGB ligthing thou...

They've had a profiling app for iPad (!!!), which nobody really used, since forever. The real question is why did it took so long for it to show up on any of the 5,000 hardware products Mooer sells these days.

To be fair, I’ve had the Mooer Preamp Live and the Preamp X, and I have to say even their basic capture technology has always been damn good.

Yeah. I used the G-labs profiling in a GE250, even for gigging. Perfectly good

What lets me a little meh are there effects, honestly.

Sitting directly in their price point with capture and a ton of effects
Realistically if it takes NDSP another 6 months or a year to implement a handful more of fx , I think they have to look at new pricing in the 399-450 range
