Line 6 Helix Stadium

the idea that we can't use words while discussing real world obviously impactful issues within the industry makes me a sad panda. Politics sure .. keep it out. But using the actual words around things that affect supply chain and consumer pricing that drive the products we are interested in is either comical or super scary .. not sure which, or both.
It's just hard to avoid people diving into politics because it is an inherently political matter, and certainly not one that needed to happen. I think we can all agree that no matter where we live, most of our politicians are a bunch of assholes.

I get that the US is a hugely important market, but it's not the only market. As a Finn, I just hope I don't have to end up subsidizing the US cost of gear too hard in the next few years.

Anyway, to get back on track. My current plan is likely smaller HX Stadium for home, and waiting for HX Turkey Sandwich (HX Stomp successor) as a travel rig, likely paired with my BluGuitar stuff.

lol, I get the political association .. that doesn't make it NOT part of the discussion about delivery dates, price, regional availability, etc..
Anyhow, sorry I'll drop it, I just read the [bad word] stuff and had a reaction.
EDIT: And in the interest of taking it easy on the mods .. lets just move on. I really wasn't intending to fan the flames.

My Sweetwater rep initially told me November 1. I'm holding him and DI to it. :D I expect to see my unit on my doorstep that week.

It's actually not...unrealistic. DI said that they're hoping to put the bow on 1.1 today. If that happens, and they start shipping them from their warehouses to Sweetwater, Guitar Center and the like on Monday, we could have it shipping to early waitlisters before Halloween even.

Fwiw, if I was to purchase a Stadium, I would not even try to load a single old preset but just enjoy the new editing and do everything from scratch.

Agreed. I have my "patch recipes" for how I like to set up 80s clean tone or acoustic sims or stuff like that, but I want to start from a clean slate with Stadium XL. I'm anticipating I'll have the time of my life just creating brand new patches with that interface and Focus View anyway.

In theory once someone takes a Stadium backup and pokes around, writing a conversion script to handle some aspects of the Hx -> Stadium migration is likely not a massive lift. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s eventually a tool.
I think that if a Gore is really that much better and more dynamic than you guys with helixes should just get the stadium as I doubt they’ll make existing presets into agora presets and agora is gonna be the next big thing from line 6 so going forward for sure so basically selling your helix and getting the stadium you’ll have all your helix in there but you’ll get the agora on top of it with the nice slick touchscreen so that would be my idea. A lot of you guys are saying all I got enough in the helix. It sounds good enough, but apparently the cigar is gonna blow it away so you’re gonna probably wanna do it sooner than later to jump on board.

Please stop using voice to text. I had to read that first sentence about 4 Tony's before realising you likely meant Agoura.

Yes - I really enjoy just putting on an amp and a hint of reverb, nothing else on. For sure I use more than that on many patches but I think if you’re playing with a new amp (on a new, better platform) it’s not a bad idea to go back to basics; those three EQ modules and compressor might not be needed any more if the new amp works differently.
