Line 6 Helix Stadium

Anyhow I am getting the stadium xl… weather I end up returning it or not is yet to be seen

You'll probably return it. Honestly, if you liked the Vox Tonelab (which I did as well), you may like the Headrest units. They have a softer tonal profile which you may be more used to (with some compromise to accuracy). Highly accurate modelers may yield sounds that can be harsh to you if you're not used to some of the real amps.

I'd say try out a Headrush and make sure that your monitoring system is good - this is key.

My Spidey senses are tingling. I think this bad MF is gonna drop right at the beginning of Nov. I have no idea what I’m talking about but I’m so excited to play it. Gonna be praying to the amp gods for some Mesa action in 1.2.

I had an mx5 head rush I sold. I liked the gui but the effects were poor and amps felt not very lively.

Agreed. I’m really looking forward to starting from a clean slate and use only in the box capabilities. Woot!
Same here, I'll make a copy of the setlists on my hard drive, but initially I don't plan on porting anything over to stadium. And even if it eventually comes to that I'd be surprised if I even port over a half dozen presets. Most of my setlists are old presets I haven't called up in ages. The few I might port over would just be to see if, to my ears they sound better on Stadium than the LT. I'm guessing that to me they won't--not because the claims are unfounded, but more because of my lack of good aural discernment.

It's actually not...unrealistic. DI said that they're hoping to put the bow on 1.1 today. If that happens, and they start shipping them from their warehouses to Sweetwater, Guitar Center and the like on Monday, we could have it shipping to early waitlisters before Halloween even.
Container ships don't move that fast across the Pacific. It definitely won't be October.
