I don’t know , because of Summit and Sweetwater gear fest I wonder if that was this weeks clip
I HOPE we get another one like that with the 800 and 4 high gainers but I am doubtful

Good news is a least a few people should get hands on with it over the weekend

I'm also doubtful we'll hear anything else this week. I'm not even confident they'll drop high gain next week, really.

There's clearly a deliberate strategy to establish the bonafides of this unit with vintage-y/clean tones before anything else, and I'm sure that's based on their own research and profiling of their customers.

They'll get to modern high gain at some point, probably when they've exhausted every Vox/Fender showcase imaginable. Maybe even after they've gone hard on the Marshalls.

I guess I'm not really crashing out because the current HX versions of the EV Panama, REVV and Bogner Ecstasy sound great and I can play them now.

This last video sounded great, most of these examples weren’t even clean, they just aren’t butt chugging rectum friers, I am glad Line 6 are showing off the dynamic capabilities before going full limp bizkit, which would make me wonder if the Stadium is just not for me. The tweeds sound awesome.

Agreed. And it’s traditionally the edge of breakup and dynamics that are hard to nail. If they are nailing these - you know the high gain stuff will be just fine. But it will be cool to hear them as some point.

As an aside - I had my Sweetwater rep call and check in on me. Of course he mentioned “I’m being told you should see it in November”. We all know that is NOT from Line6 - because I’m sure @Digital Igloo wouls give us a heads up here fairly soon following any date they gave to the retailers.

But it just makes me laugh and wonder what management as SW is thinking in making shit up like that.

Having worked in sales, it’s safe to say sales guys will say whatever it takes to get you to spend your money, including outright lies. And sales managers are just sales guys that made it to the top, so you’ve got a professional liar teaching all of the reps how to lie like he does.

Notice the careful language like ‘you should see it in November’.

100% things like
We expect to have
We hope to get
It’s likely we will see it
As per DI comments they are probably trying to dig out of a hole on a date they mentioned in July and they will most likely use the Line6 is late when changing it because they likely don’t know Igloo is as active on the boards as he is

And after all other brands have already occupied a big chunk of the metal space.
