Line 6 Helix Stadium

Once again, accuracy gets mistaken for subjective quality, even though they’re completely orthogonal.

I don't think anyone is mistaking them. At least I didn't notice.
It's just that for some people accuracy in the modeling world seems to be the ulitmate measuring stick whereas others don't care much - or are happy in case there's things going beyond accuracy, possibly to get closer to their prefered subjective sound qualities.

Like any other home screen parameter, it can be assigned to snapshots, stomps, expression pedals, MIDI, the XY Controller, or even drum triggers/contact microphones.

Oh, that's a great idea.
Drummer: "Yeah, I'm gonna hit that snare harder to enjoy more guitar hype!"

Anyhow, this made me curious. As you allow drum triggers to control parameters, does that mean there's input level as a modifier, too? I mean, it should be the same functionality, no?

That is the point I’m making - the feature is simply something I would ignore. Same as how I avoided the Pure Cabinet controls on a Kemper, and even if they developed it more I simply wouldn’t care. I’m really amazed that the concept of not every feature appealing to every user is so contentious.

Could we effing get to the effing part where you effing ignore it then, already? For eff's sake, buddy, you haven't said anything new or interesting in a dozen pages. Give it an effing rest already.

Damn.

Twelve. Each path can split and then merge six times, but splits and merges take up block locations.
I know it has not really been officially discussed but how many blocks can you fit in a path ?
Can you use and Agoura Amp like a 5153 red and poly pitch
Block pre and post and still be ok or will you run into similar limitations with newer amps
Just curious if you can have a kitchen sink w 3 amps

I suppose that hinges on whether the Stadium sticks with the OG Helix approach of dedicated processing per path, or if it will be more along the line of what Fractal does, where the grid is essentially an open sandbox to play with.

Fractal is still limited by only allowing X amount of block types.

Quad cortex, to me, is truly a sandbox. You can place any amount/type of blocks and your only limitation is DSP
