ok, well I'm not sure what you are asking but I gave a solution.
Another way would be just record it directly into the Stadium onto a new track.
My bad, don't worry.
I phrased the initial question badly.

DO YOU REALLY NEED 2 QCsI keep picking up the phone to pre-order, and then deciding to wait. Once these are listed on websites with actual "Add to Cart" buttons, I can start scrounging around for a coupon like the shameless bottom-feeder I am.I remember ordering a Helix Floor for $1200 the day it was released. Good times!
No they like KemperI thought it was a jab at Kemper “stage”.
I think we are all subject to this to some degree. I've found myself defending plenty of products I like without thinking that I'm a fanboy.People take brand loyalty way too far. It's just a purchase. The defensiveness i am seeing from TMP people is much the same. All kinds of arguments now about how people should like what they have, how liking/wanting more or better means music isn't your priority. It's ok to own something and admit it's being challenged or even beat. It's not a personal failing.
I own an FM9T and a TMP.
I'm trying to convince myself that I'll like this better than my QCs in every way, and maybe eventually (after purging a bunch of other gear, of course) wind up with a Stadium on the desk and a Stadium XL on the floor/ on the go. But yeah, the Stadium doesn't quite achieve the physical portability the QC does. And at the same time, the closely grouped Stadium encoders will probably not feel as good as the wider-spaced "poo switches" on the QC.Hardware:
- I'd prefer more compact, but I'm totally fine with it considering what you get in return. It's much smaller than the Helix and the non-XL is a lot more desk friendly.
- 8 encoders. Excellent!
It’s their own proprietary capture tech likely and the sheep are damn funnyGonna call it:
"Proxy" is a place holder name for what they can't reveal as of yet.
Obviously, I may be wrong but something about it feels amusing to me.
Line 6: "Operation Proxy".

Yes. 2nd best gear decision I ever made (behind buying the 1st one.)DO YOU REALLY NEED 2 QCs
I don't think so. I think it will again closely mimic the hardware. I just hope they don't go for the slider approach tho.Anyone also thinks that the new PC Editor will have a very nice graphical representation of the amps and effects?
Kind of like interactive Metalurgy UI for every model, this would be freaking epic.
The knob spacing doesn't look too bad to me based on the videos. It looks like you can comfortably fit a finger between the knobs.I'm trying to convince myself that I'll like this better than my QCs in every way, and maybe eventually (after purging a bunch of other gear, of course) wind up with a Stadium on the desk and a Stadium XL on the floor/ on the go. Yep I suspect you will be able to just transfer the MP3 from your computer or Phone IOS app eventually straight into stadium and then select what you want to doI'm sure somehow has more tech answers but if I really want to stem a song I buy it on iTunes and use their software to convert to mp3
They also are using a stepped chassis like atomic used to which is great and makes the top row much more useable and easy to hitThe knob spacing doesn't look too bad to me based on the videos. It looks like you can comfortably fit a finger between the knobs.
There's going to be a little bit of "screen -> knobs -> brain" mapping needed because they don't align exactly with the screen controls, but far less than on the QC where the knob/switches are pretty far away and not that well indicated. You grow a muscle memory for those eventually.
At first glance the encoders and their spacing looked very similar to that of the OG Helix products (though there are more of them.) Hopefully the spacing, tactile response, and/or acceleration curves are improved. The knob spacing doesn't look too bad to me based on the videos. yes and I think it will be IOS tooAnyone also thinks that the new PC Editor will have a very nice graphical representation of the amps and effects?

What prevents me from releasing a single a claiming a Hindmarsh and me collaboratiion
I had totally missed this. Cool! (I hope they included a way to jump normal and bright channels too)Finally amp models where the channels are in the same model instead of separate ones! I hope they do this for old Helix models too.
Jumpering channels could be either just having them jumpered by default and you just turn up the channel volume like on some real amps based on e.g Plexis, or you can select high/normal/jumpered from the channel selector.I had totally missed this.
