I agree if any noise at that price it’s unacceptableHelix can already switch amp channels etc. I use it with my Mark III, Budda, and Recto all the time. Were you having trouble there?
I’m totally with you on the others. I’ve had BIG noise issues mixing HXFX and Helix fx loops with basically any high gain scenario and I don’t even use a ton of gain. I’m frankly not sure if that’s been addressed, but it severely limits where and how I can use Helix, which is in part why both my hardware devices have been sitting in boxes for months.
Day one with Stadium XL I will be introducing its loops to my amps. If there are noise issues, it goes back immediately and I move on. At $2k+ those just aren’t issues I’m willing to tolerate.
I’m willing to accept some noise, as it’s hard not to raise your noise floor with digital loops and high gain tube gear. I’ve run into full on white noise as loud as my guitar signal in some configurations or with certain dirt pedals. I’d love for that behavior to improve.I agree if any noise at that price it’s unacceptable
I like doublers and dimensional effects to fatten up a tone. Add this old Sony boombox and there’s a switch on it and it just makes the stereo dimension like huge. I keep it on all the time I mean the switch on so I like that on the boombox so it’s a good idea to put it on tones in the modelers. My asks: an updated BOSS Dimension C stereo chorus (from the current one in the Helix Legacy section), and a Mimiq-like doubler stereo effect (like the KMA Geminus!)
Lists ways to use live on stageWell bedroom players really use this feature I mean come on we wanna hear more about the looper how advanced and intricate it is compared to the old helix and if there’s any effects that are new instead of the same old ones are their advanced effects??
I know I already posted this in another thread, but since this is the official, original wishlist thread…
Helix Stadium really needs reworked models of the Tube Screamer and SD-1. Both are absolute standards when it comes to overdrive pedals, and the current models just aren't good enough.
uhhh... remodel them???What do you expect them to do with that?

That‘s not the problem. The problem is that their model of the 808 simply does not sound like any version of a Tube Screamer.I sometimes wonder if folks are thrown off by L6 choice of tubescreamer. Historically they model the TS-808 instead of the TS-9. They don’t sound exactly the same and I’d wager a guess more people have experience with the TS-9.

Yeah but also, if cows were pigs, and pigs were ducks, the Helix Stadium would still kill the QC.If Line 6 remodeled an amp, pedal or cab every time someone said "it's not good enough" or "it's not as good as (insert competitor here)", we'd probably still be on the launch content of Helix 1.0.
