Line 6 Helix Stadium

K y’all I think I’m gonna list my QC for real. Reverb sucks but I think it’s my only route here lol, what would you suggest I price this shit?
Start with $1500?

no one said 'just to support NAM'

I'm saying they can if they want to, as it's not a 'product'.

They could add support for NAM, and/or adapt it to their own proprietary needs, and even use a script to convert standard NAM models internally to their own format.

They MIGHT do a NAM file conversion, but I think them not supporting NAM native is going to hurt. The professional capture market is going to be Tonex and Proxy with a few lingering also rans.

This looks really, really great - but I don't need a lot of the functionality - showcase, profiling, mic input etc. etc.

What I want are the next gen amp models and fx and new interface. I can afford this but I don't want to spend extra $ for a bunch of things I won't use. I guess we'll have to wait for the rest of the portfolio to flesh out...which could be who knows how long.

I hope they stick with their own Cloning tech and don’t incorporate NAM. Keep everything standardized in-house. That at least keeps the control group/method like for like. NAM is for people with too much time on their hands. Like Linux weirdos. (Ok, that was me, but I’m better now)
They could just figure out a way to import NAM profiles to their Proxy technology.

Whatever they do, I'm happy.
I love using NAM, I'm part of the team over there so I'm immensely proud of it.
I'm also proud of companies like Line 6 who have made the effort to create fantastic products, who listen to feedback and react to it.

But, saying "where is NAM's grave?" isn't a thing because in itself, NAM is a codebase which you can either make use of as is or adapt to your needs, or not.

It'd be amazing if they do work on something, and could be a smart move considering there is already a sizeable community that they could connect with via an API, but even if not, they could just simply add support like they do with IR files.

I'm certainly not complaining either way.

I've just finished watching the live stream and while @Digital Igloo said that the old stuff isn't going anywhere It's not clear to me whether stadium and helix/HX can share presets (with obvious limitations) or not.

In other words, is the ecosystem still one or we have now 2 separate worlds under the helix name?
